How religious traditions can contribute to promote cooperation between people and to ensure social justice and peace in the world?
In developing this issue, speakers will address the following aspects:
- What is the place of man in the universe?
- Taking into account his place, what values should be (re-) set in our societies? Why? How?
- What initiatives can be taken, especially with regard to youth?
- Which analytical and operational tools are available to the great traditions to dismantle the mechanisms that are poisoning people?
- How their approach is different from that of politicians?
The « Events to promote Peace » ended with a manifesto that we now call:
THE BRUSSELS APPEAL
